BORLÄNGE, SWEDEN - November 6, 2012: Lightspeed Design, Inc. (US) and LC-Tec Displays AB (Sweden) have today signed a new multi-year exclusive distribution agreement ensuring that the patented PolarSpeed™ technology manufactured by LC-Tec will continue to be solely used in the DepthQ® Polarization Modulator distributed by Lightspeed Design.
The DepthQ® Polarization Modulator allows digital cinema projectors
to display stunning stereoscopic 3D films and meets Hollywood’s demanding image
quality standards. Exhibiting an unparalleled powered, symmetrical 50μs
switching time between the eyes, the DepthQ® allows the world's smallest dark
time - thus easily ensuring bright, low-crosstalk operation. The product is listed
on the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Approved Equipment List.
