LIGHTSPEED PRESENTS AT S.P.I.E. STEREOSCOPIC CONFERENCE
San Jose, CA- January, 2004: Today at the 2004 Stereoscopic Displays and Applications Conference, Lightspeed presented an important technical paper: DepthQ Universal System For Stereoscopic Video Visualization.
The SPIE Stereoscopic conference is the years most significant technical gathering of scientists and experts in the field of stereoscopic visualization.
Other participants included: NHK Science and Technical Research Labs. (Japan), NVIDIA Corporation (USA), University of Washington (USA), Stereographics Corp. (USA), Waseda Univ. (Japan), Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (South Korea), SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. DepthQ was one of the featured media playback technologies for the “3D Screening Session” where high-definition films from around the world were presented.
Lightspeed’s Senior Software Engineer, Dr. Michal Husak, presented the paper: DepthQ Universal System for Stereoscopic Video Visualization on WIN32 Platform.
Lightspeed’s President, Chris Ward, also participated in a panel session: "3D and 4D Attractions - The New Stereoscopic Cinema".
